Highland Meadows to host Holiday Coat Drive thru Dec. 21

ROCKWALL, TX – December 8, 2020 – Highland Meadows Health & Rehab, located at 1870 S. John King Blvd. in Rockwall, is collecting donations of coats through Dec. 21. All items must be bagged or boxed prior to drop-off and can be left just inside their main corridor.

Highland Meadows is a privately owned and operated skilled nursing and long-term care facility that is home to 75 long-term residents and more than 30 short-term patients. They provide inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, and IV therapy. A licensed care team specializes in stroke recovery, orthopedics, wound care management, pain management, post-surgical rehab, and Diabetes. A physician makes rounds seven days a week, and the Medical Director is a licensed, board-certified Physiatrist. There’s a fully equipped gym and a dedicated room that serves as a simulated home environment, complete with kitchen appliances, washer and dryer – for functional therapy.
