Rockwall Cinemark donates movie theater popcorn in a-MAIZING act of kindness for Royse City students

ROYSE CITY, TX (May 20, 2021) What BUTTER way to POP off the school year than with an act of kindness (or shall we say, a  of kindness?)  Jamie Allen, 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher and 7th Grade Girls Athletic Coach at Royse City ISD’s Ouida Baley Middle School, shared a heartwarming tale of an a-MAIZing treat from Rockwall Cinemark for its students.

“Last night, I went to pick up three extra-large bags of fresh popcorn that the Rockwall Cinemark Movie Theatre donated to our school. Today, we had a movie day at school for each grade level and it turned into having popcorn as well! We were able to give ALL of our students and the entire staff popcorn!” Jamie wrote.

Rockwall Cinemark popped fresh hot popcorn for the entire campus for Movie Day today.

“This is such an amazing way to capture not only our students hearts, but the entire STAFF!” she said.

Thank you to Rockwall Cinemark for their generous CORN-sideration of students and staff!
