National Charity League Lone Star Chapter welcomes Rockwall ISD coaches to pep-rally themed kickoff

ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (August 23, 2021) The Lone Star Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. recently held a pep rally-themed kick-off meeting. Special guest speakers were Russ Reeves, Director of Rockwall ISD Athletics; Coach Mike Spradlin, Campus Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach at Rockwall-Heath High School; and Coach Trey Brooks, Campus Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach at Rockwall High School.

NCL is a non-profit organization comprised of mothers and daughters, with membership beginning when the girls are in seventh grade and continuing through their senior year in high school.  Currently, there are 272 chapters spread across 27 states and comprised of 73,000 members and over 200,000 alumnae.  The Lone Star chapter was chartered in 1983 as the first chapter in the state of Texas and has 300 members.

The mission of NCL is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.  The program facilitates sharing the joy of helping others, participation in meaningful activities and friendship, while growing together.
