Local teen brings home title of National Junior Miss Agriculture USA Queen to Texas

HUNT COUNTY, TX (July 25, 2022) Kayson McAfee of Caddo Mills, Texas was recently named the 2022 National Junior Miss Agriculture USA Queen.

Miss Agriculture USA is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on positively promoting agriculture featuring queens of all ages that promote, celebrate, and educate about all the diverse aspects of agriculture.

Kayson is the 13-year-old daughter of Grant and Jeannie McAfee of Caddo Mills.

Her agricultural interests include market goats, market lambs, livestock judging, hunting, and gardening. Kayson loves all aspects of agriculture and hopes to be a large animal veterinarian in the future. She loves sharing her passion of agriculture with others. She will be speaking at schools and events in the area about agriculture as well as be attending livestock shows throughout the state.

Kayson competed in the National Miss Agriculture USA competition in June was very excited to bring the title home to Texas.
