ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (April 15, 2024) Founded on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in 1969, Rush Creek Yacht Club will celebrate its founding this Saturday, April 20.
The Founders Day Celebration “Past, Present, and Future” will include a fire boat display, media booths, best dressed boat awards, recognition of founding members, Sunset Colors Ship 1000, s’mores, music and dancing.
A landmark for sailing in the Dallas area and the United States, RCYC offers organized competition for all ages, whether you are new to sailing or have extensive experience. Their facilities operate year-round and include both wet and dry slip storage, a swimming pool, an expansive deck with an attached playground, a full-service dining room and a bar.
RCYC’s Youth Sailing Program is one of the only year-round programs in the Dallas area. They also offer adult education programs and the IC24 sailboat rental program. RCYC is dedicated to promoting the principles and traditions of Corinthian sailing.
RCYC is located at 320 Rush Creek Drive in Heath.
