(City of Rockwall) August 1, 2012 – A public hearing on the anticipated social, economic and environmental effects of planned improvements to FM 3097 (Horizon Road) from FM 740 to Tubbs Road is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 at Pullen Elementary School, 6492 FM 3097.
The Texas Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, will conduct the hearing. TxDOT officials will be available at 6 p.m. prior to the 7 p.m. hearing at an Open House to answer questions and review project exhibits.
The improvements to FM 3097 will include widening the road from two lanes to a four-lane divided road from FM 740 to Tubbs Road.
The information presented at the public hearing is also available for public inspection and reproduction at the TxDOT Dallas District Office, 4777 E. Hwy. 80 in Mesquite and online at www.keepitmovingdallas.com under Upcoming Public Hearing.
