(Rockwall/Heath) May 30, 2013 – Rockwall Summer Musicals actress Meredith Bennett proudly displays a proclamation signed by Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty recognizing the June 27 – 30 performance of the show, 1776, American’s Prize Winning Musical.

The proclamation jointly honors Heath’s presentation of the Annual July 4 Independence Day Parade, patriots who serve and continue to serve to protect our nation and the celebrated showing of 1776.

Bennett, who is a graduating senior from Rockwall-Heath High School, performed a song from the musical, and was dressed in an authentic costume from the American Revolution. She is cast in the role of “Martha Jefferson” in the show.
