(Rockwall ISD) October 29, 2012 – The 7th annual Nebbie Williams Elementary Walk-A-Thon was held on Oct 26 and was a huge success as the school’s “Out of This World” fundraiser.

Nebbie students smile as they are playing Frisbee golf sponsored by Life House.

The cold front did not freeze the excitement out of the kids as they began the day with a parade led by the Rockwall Fire Department, Rockwall High School Drum Line and Rockwall High School Stingerettes.

Throughout the day the kids walked to music provided by DJ Frank Tyminski, learned taekwondo skills from White Tiger Martial Arts, played disc golf provided by Life Disc Sports and competed against each other on the obstacle course bounce house provided by the YMCA.

Nebbie students say thank you to the community for helping make this a successful fundraiser.

This year’s generous sponsors included Stonebridge Veterinary Hospital; Dental Professionals of Rockwall’s Brigette Koetter; Toyota of Rockwall; Kid to Kid; Animal Hospital of Fate; State Farm Agent John Elsey; Lakeside Allergy Ear, Nose & Throat’s Dr. Jeffrey West; Waffle House; and Alliance Bank.

The Rockwall Fire Department leads the spirit parade for all the students and staff.

Nebbie Williams would like to say a huge “Thank You” to the local sponsors, volunteers, students, friends and family for making this fundraiser a victory.
